Pajo habla sobre el fin de Zwan (o casi)

Esto es de un semanario de Boston. Aparte de hablar de sus proyectos con Papa M, David Pajo habla un poco sobre Zwan:

I have to ask about Zwan. How did you get recruited for the project?

I was held at knifepoint. Nah, it was mostly through Matt [Sweeney]. We'd played together
with Will [Oldham], and he just told me it was "a project" he was doing and that it might be
fun. Then we all met and got along. They were looking for bass players at the time and
auditioned like 26 people. Then they asked me if I wanted to play bass - and Billy [Corgan]
and Jimmy [Chamberlin] had never even heard me play except for like Slint or something.

Did you enjoy the experience?

It was really, really cool in the sense of how freaky it all was. I remember there being
weeks at a time when I could say I'd done something that day that I'd never done before -
for better or worse.

Did you ever see yourself on that TV commercial?

Oh no. What? No, I've never seen it. I think they had a DVD too that came with the CD where
they interview each band member and show some footage. My parents played it for some
friends, and I had to leave the room. Another time I saw part of "Saturday Night Live" where
we were the musical guests, and I had to flip past it. I couldn't watch it. It will be
interesting to watch 20 years from now, but right now it's too much.

Is Billy Corgan as big of an asshole as people make him out to be?

That's a tough question. I don't know if I can confirm it or deny it. I know what I can do.
Let's just say I know bigger assholes.

Are you happy it's over?

I think everybody's happy that it's over. You know, there's so much dirt I want to spill,
but I can't. Not now. I'll have to wait a couple of years - when I'm safe from the mafia.

Voy a retomar el foro de zwan xDDDDDDDDDDDD cuando le vais a poner el candao ya??? si no hay mas ke hablar!! billy tuvo un mal dia vale??? no le echeis mas en cara es horrible grupo ke tuvo, con ese repelente merchandising y artwork con colorines y tan hortera ke da grima.
Un mal dia lo tiene cualkiera, cerrar ya el foro de zwan!

Y lo de malo es relativo. Zwan no era malo, lo que era mala era la idea desde el principio. Billy tenía que haber hecho ya su disco en solitario, y luego forman otra banda si quería... Ña.

Perdone señorita, pero yo dije ke zwan era una bazofia muuuuuuuucho antes lo ke pasa es ke billy es billy y claro habia ke verlo. Pero todo el mundo sabe ke si gustaba el grupo algo era SOLO Y EXCLUSIVAMENTE PQ ERA EL NUEVO GRUPO DE BILLY CORGAN.

O yo entiendo mu mal el inglés (q lo entiendo muy mal) o dice: "creo q tenían un DVD"(Pajo empanaete q tú estabas en la banda)

Y después dice: "tuve q salir de la habitación cuando lo vieron mis padres". Hijo de mi vida, ¿pero ahora estás seguro q existe el DVD en cuestión? xD joder si es q hasta a mi me daba vergüenza ajena verlo

A mi desde el principio no me molo Zwan muxo como decis , pero esq joder , son Billy y Jimmy , ay q seguirles en todo, la verdad q el dvd no esta mal del todo xq vienen algunas cosas en directo y una cancion q no encuentro para bajarmela q precisamente es la q mas me mola de Zwan la de GOD GONNA SET THIS WORLD ON FIRE ,  me kede    cuando la vi en el dvd y no consegui bajarla de ningun sitio , y luego en el concierto del madrid (al ke fui y disfrute como un enano al ver a billy x primera vez) y aun no la tengo asiq si algun alma caritativa la tiene q me la paseeeeeeee !!!

RESUMIENDO , Zwan podrian aber sido mejores si ubieran sido mas cañeros y ubieran exo un rock algo mas agresivo y menos suave...pero bueno , menos es nada , asiq viva billy!!
