Review cancion a cancion en blamo:
THE SET
1) US : great track. No doubt the current buzz on this tune is justified. Heavy, long, some hints of "the Viper" inside, cool vocal melody at the end.
2) Today : classic version. No comment.
3) Stand inside your love. Classic electric version. No comment.
4) Orchid & 5) Doomsday clock : can't remember but one of these really striked me. I guess it was Orchid.
6) Home. A cooler version with a nice synth over it. Great to have such rarities on such classical set.
7) Hummer : what can i say ? One of my favorite tunes. Classic version with a longer & different solo at the end.
Starz : one of the new songs i preferred. Pop indeed.
9) Tarantula : classic version. No comment.
10) Bullet with butterfly wings : 2000 version.
11) Gossamer : Where the fuck is it coming from ?! ? If i remember correctly, it was really heavy at the beginning, then a long & cool interlude & again some heavy shit to close it.
Acoustic set -> Billy plays alone
12) God & country : I thought it was a shitty straight forward song & now i hear it on YouTube, it seems it will grow on me. Definitely low-key.
13) 33 : gorgeous version on a 12-strings-guitar. It gave me shivers. The kind of songs i will play to my grand-childrens in 50 years.
14) Rocket. New acoustic version. Really nice.
15) Winterlong : Not my favorite Judas O' tracks but still, it is cool to hear it live.
Acoustic + band
16) to Sheila : classic version with some error/joke from Jimmy at the end . Totally shows how BC & JC interact, since you can see how they try to trick each other.
17) Glass & the ghost children : kickass version ! Even if it is one of my favorite tracks from M1, i had a hard time to recognize it.
18) Cherub rock. Classic rocking version. It amazed me but it was one of the songs that got the best welcome from the audience.
19) 1979 : classic "electric" version. No comment.
20) Tonight : with Cherub rock it's one of the moment when you've felt the audience was really into it.
21) Never lost & 21) that's the way : can't remember but i really liked one them a lot. Compared to the first Zeitgeist tunes, these one were a bit cooler. Remind me of some the Cure (Pornography-era) shit.
23) Disarm. Classic electric version.
24) Zero. Classic rocking version. The audience went insane on this one. Cool to hear again 2000 people scream "wanna go for a ride !".
25) Untitled. Nice to hear it live. A great song IMO, even if it is not often quoted by the fans. A long interlude in the middle with some synth driving it.
Encore n°1
26) Shame. New version. First part keeps the overall feeling of the track & then it breaks into some ascending rocking part. Shorter than usual, it misses the "hello goodbye, you know you made us cry" part.
27) Silverfuck. Start as the classic version (people went completely nuts), then the quiet part carried the "the end" cover, then the song goes on a new heavy part. Really cool but too cliché to be the closer of the show.
Encore n°2
28) Annie-dog. A cheesy & faggy version. Even Corgan was laughing at it during the performance.
29) Muzzle : Classic electric version. A crowd pleaser that achieved to show MCIS was the king of the night.
Y grabaciones completas del concierto tienen que estar al caer, me imagino
