Once Kasabian have wrapped up their last leg of West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum touring, the recording studio beckons. Meighan is excited about the songs Kasabian guitarist Serge Pizzorno has played him so far.

“I think we’re going to start recording in October and November. Serge has demoed the album already and it got it to the standard where he can give it to me and I can do what I want with it, so it’s 50 percent done and it’s wonderful. These songs are well exciting mate. I’ve heard it all and it’s a really great record. I can’t give you details about it because it’s so early, but it’s going to knock the shit out of West Ryder...”

That’s a big call – you’re talking about a bloody strong album there!

Las espectativas son peligrosas, pero a ver si es verdad y lo parten con el nuevo!

Pues si lo dice asi de convencido habra que creerle xD a ver si es verdad que nos enseñan pronto algo nuevo y no hay que esperar a que terminen el album, como con fast fuse y thick as thieves.

A ver qué tal esos nuevos temas, que el West Ryder al final me ganó del todo. Menudo discachu ^^

Dudo mucho que vayan a sacar algún adelanto, ya sea en forma de EP o single.
Y bueno, tampoco se puede uno fiar de estos personajes, que con el West Ryder nos marearon con que si a finales de un año, que si a principios de otro, y al final tardaron la vida xDD Mereció la pena esperar, claro, pero en su momento los odié xD

Pues si, es un poco dificil de escuchar con tanta interrupcion xd pero suena chula, al estilo WRPLA. Veremos si la meten en el disco nuevo, que por cierto saldrá a finales de este año. Espero que en la gira veraniega ya nos enseñen un puñado de temitas nuevos.

Edito el título del tema y asi lo reciclamos para el disco nuevo xD que supuestamente sale en octubre, y ya empieza a haber algo mas de movimiento.

Kasabian reveal new album song titles

Kasabian have revealed a series of new song titles set to feature on their forthcoming new album.

The Leicester band have been working on the record in San Fransisco with Dan The Automator, who produced their last album 'West Ryder Lunatic Pauper Asylum. Songs set to feature include 'Switchblade Smile', 'Neon Noon', Goodby Kiss', I Hear Voices', 'Shelter From The Storm' and 'Velociraptor'.

Singer Tom Meighan told Q that the latter song is "mega punk fucking aggression. Totally off the wall, but you know it's us."

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said of the album: "Listening to the songs makes you feel great. Get your fucking jacket on, whack your fucking shoes on. It makes you believe things are going to happen."

The five-piece started work on the album at London's British Grove Studios earlier this year before the singer and guitarist headed to California to finish it. It's expected to be released in October.
